What type of log homes do you provide?
Generally, log homes come in two types, handcrafted and manufactured. Handcrafted log homes start with logs that are fitted by hand, one at a time, and are typically preassembled at the mill, disassembled, shipped to your job site, and reassembled. Manufactured log homes are milled and precut according to your design specifications and typically are not preassembled. The precise size and fit achieved by milling the logs makes assembly less labor intensive and offers more variety in wall/corner systems. Inlet Log Homes  provides manufactured log homes in a variety of styles, shapes, and sizes.

How hard is it to get financing on log home projects?

Log home financing is much easier than in the past. Most lenders are accepting log home construction on par with conventional building. The biggest difference is in how construction payments are made as log homes are raised. More money is paid up front with log homes because more material is on site in the early stages of construction. Either way, we are prepared to work with you to make this part of your log home purchase a pleasant one. If your local lender is hesitant about log home financing, we have several institutions that specialize in log home financing at competitive rates.
